Hooooo-boy....

Just got back from watching "Fahrenheit 911" at the Fox Tower - and world seems a little different now. Like the calm before the storm.

While Bush fiddles away in his Ivory Tower, long knives are being sharpened in theaters across the nation. Things just got worse for George - and in a big way.

Moore's latest effort is everything you have come to expect from America's favorite muckraker. It is a decidedly biased film, but the issues raised in F911 won't simply be explained away by Bush's press secretary. The ugliness will come home to roost. Bet on it.

I can't imagine this film not having a direct impact on the elections in November. It's that powerful. Never in the history of cinema has such a scathing portrait of a sitting president been rendered. Moore doesn't spare the press either - devoting an entire montage to the war drumming offered up in the wake of war.

It's a powerhouse film that everyone should see...

An interesting sidenote....

Just as the topic was turning to Iraq, the fire alarm in the theater went off - sending the four sold-out screenings of F911 into the lobby - or out of the building. Some refused to leave, thinking it was a false alarm tripped by Bush supporters. Eventually, most everyone got back in and finished the film.
